Ok so yesterday I had 2 people drive the WJ and make an offer.One was for cash, the other was 300 more but with a loan. Here is the situation.
Guy A: Cash offer. Will meet at my bank on Wed to do the transaction on my schedule. Purchasing for his 16 yr old daughter. Easy sell.
Guy B: $300 more has to get a loan. Expects me to flex my schedule around so I can meet him for a pre-purchase inspection at a dealer. I would have to leave my internship early to do this, the time it will take for the inspection will mean I basically drop a day plus driving 60ish miles to where he is located for the inspection.
At what point do I say $300 is not worth it and go with the easy transaction? I may have already burned that transaction however, because out of courtesy I called and told him about the other guys offer. I'm already less than I wanted to go on price but I'm dying without a truck and well into camping season.
