A/C blowing hot air on Passenger side

The day finally came where I HAD to do something about my HVAC. Cold air from the driver's side and warm air from passenger side. I researched, read, YouTube'd and finally discovered my Recirculation Door was not operating properly. The fault code was 52 - "(Al (Recirc) door travel range too large". The door and spindle that attaches to the motor were OK. It was the motor hub fitting that the door spindle slides into that was cracked and not closing the recirc door, the motor hub was only spinning around the door spindle. The recirc door would be flapping and positioned to half outside/half recir position and allow outside air into the cabin. Consequently causing hot air to enter the cabin.

So my fix was drilling a 3/32" hole through the hub and spindle, then using a #6 x 1/2" sheet metal screw to keep the hub and spindle together. After re-calibrating the doors - ALL IS WELL!! Cold air from both sides now and the Recirc door works as advertised.

I'll attempt to post a picture and video. The white goop on the screw head is a spot of caulk I used to keep the screw on the screwdriver until I could get the screw in the hole.
