A/C leaks

The performance of my a/c has dropped over the past 4 weeks since I had it recharged.
I've spotted a couple of potential refrigerant gas leaks using a UV light.
They are both on compression fittings that join a hard pipe to a flexible pipe. Plus one of the potential leaks also has oily stains on it which Im told is a sign of a leak ?
I don't think I can do much more at home now, so intended to find a local garage that can do a leak test with dye to confirm.

Does this sound a good plan ?

Hope I can still by replacement pipes, or have the old ones repaired !!

Thanks

Re: A/C leaks

There is lubricating oil in the coolant system, to lubricate the compressor, so it can be that a bit of oil escapes where there is a leak. Probably best yes to take it to a specialist, they maybe also know a place where they can make you a new line. Will probably be cheaper then to order a mopar part.

Re: A/C leaks

Thanks for confirming that. I opened up the blend door compartment at the weekend to check the doors were performing correctly, which they were.
I still get occasional fault codes for doors not fully moving tho !!
