Hello everyone, I'm new here looking for help, lol.
I have a 2002 WJ 4.7 non H.O, that"s losing power in the upper RPMs or bogging down. If I'm doing 65 MPH and floor it it will shift down to 2nd start to accelerate until the RPMs get to around 4000-4500k, then it will just sit there bogging down it wont even shift into 3rd, not until after I let off the gas. This is been going on for about a month now, no dtc, new plugs, Ive changed the drivers o2 sensor about 2 months ago. I thought it might of been the cat plugging up so I removed both and they were fine. Fuel pressure is good at least at idle, dont know at wot. Sometimes after a trip I'll start it back up and it will run rough, feels like its missing, and it will like burnt oil, sometimes it would die, other time i'll give it gas and it would try to rev up, then it would run fine minus the power loss. Any insight will be appreciated!!!! Yesterday I installed new fuel pump and strainers, fix the exhaust manifold leak, and a new TPS sensor. It still doing it no codes, its not leaning out as far as the o2's are saying. It has the muffler on and the last cat that's right before the muffler. Could the PCV system cause this? The elbows that go to the valve cover were bad so I replaced them with hose and now there kinked. I'll post the video I took. Video
Flooring every time, sometime fast and sometimes slowly.
