Can someone please tell me what this piece is called.

Mine os broken and I believe this broken piece has been contributing to my rough idle. It goes in between/around the throttle body inlet (over the top) and the air resonator (At the bottom) I need to get a new piece and I think it may be a dealer only part but if I know what the exact name is I can look for 1 other places than the dealer. I have a 99 JGC I6

The manual only comes up with resonator clamp. I doubt that you will find it on the paralel market.

It's a clamp and support piece for the throttle body. Don't remember the proper name though.

When I bought my resonator, it came with the rubber fitting. I don't know if you can buy it separately.

The clamp is not available separately. Resonator p/n is 4854013 and MSRP is $165.00. Around $73 on Ebay and elsewhere.

Definitely a rubber fitting to ensure that the intake is air tight. I have a 4.7, so I do not know exactly how yours is set up.. I wonder if it is possible to just get a rubber coupler like this ( Buy Spectre Coupler/Reducer 3" to 3" or 2.5" 8771 at Advance Auto Parts ) that fits your intake size and just put a clamp on the throttle body side, and the resonator side. A cheap fix instead of forking out a good chunk of change due to a piece or rubber.

Re: Can someone please tell me what this piece is called.

It's possible to use a rubber coupler and clamps, it works pretty good.
