Ceramic brake pads

I've always used semi-metalic brake pads on my WJ and go thru pads quickly because of the constant stop and go of delivering newspapers. My boss suggested I try ceramic pads. I now have a constant squeak at low speed that shuts up when you apply the brake and a coating of brake dust on my front wheels. I've tried checking the pistons, lubing the pins, everything I can think of but haven't stopped the squeak. My next step is to ditch the ceramics and go back to semi-metalics. OH! and the rotors were new when I put the ceramics on. What are your thoughts?

I also have the Teves calipers and have never had a problem with them or warped a rotor yet.

Re: Ceramic brake pads

Ceramics are a better street pad. The problem with them are they protect your rotor by wearing down instead of eating into your rotor cause the to wear more quickly and covering the rotors in dust causing the squeak
