Electrical issues.

Ok the issues start as the courtesy lights from the passenger door window and lock switches start going on and off, then the it starts going to the driver door until I can't use the locks nor the windows, finally my dashboard light goes on, all the lights in the dashboard go on (seat belt, check engine, brakes, etc.) and all the gauges needles go to zero.
What I also notice is that the light for the key (key has chip) goes on and sometime my engine will shut down. Also my overhead console sometimes will shut down. And when I use he key fob to open or close the doors while the engine is on, everything will go back to normal for a couple of minutes.

Re: Electrical issues.

First off - Welcome!

As for the problem, have you checked the following things:
- Is the battery good? Low voltage does crazy things
- Do you have any corroded or loose fuses in the fuse boxes?
- Bad or weak grounds do strange things too.

Franco hopefully share his wisdom with you.

Re: Electrical issues.

Welcome to the garage.
There is a problem with the PCI data bus, which connects most of the electronic components together and let them share their information. Can be a problem with a broken wire in one of the front door rubber boots. If ok, i would first disconnect the battery for 10 minutes and try again. This can reset a frozen door module or BCM.
If the fault still returns, then the fun trouble shooting starts.
Did it rain lately? There are several cases known of water ingress in connector C200 up in the passengers footwell area. The water can cause a short of the PCI data bus, which passes through this connector. The remedy here is drying the both connector sides, putting some di-electric grease on the pins and put it together. Also the source of the water leak must be found, which many times comes from the windshield seal.
Another issue could be a shorted crank position sensor, but that normally doesn´t show up as intermittently.
