err control arms- poly bushes

* Sorry, the title should read rear control arms, but you can't edit your subject line? *

I've just fitted a set of Superpro poly bushes to the rear control arms of my WJ and can report they do give a little extra firmness to the jeeps rear end. It's difficult to gauge, but I personally feel they have reduced the butt wiggle a little. I'm already running the adcco sway bar, and the combination does give better road manners to the WJ. I guess if your jeep is mostly on the road and only gets occasional moderate off road use it's a good upgrade. You hard core off roaders won't like the restrictive articulation ?
I'm not intending to poly bush the other suspension parts as, after all it's a 4 x4 and not meant to drive like a Porsche plus I think it would start to make the ride too "harsh".

Re: err control arms- poly bushes

Do you have part numbers? I am considering upgrading these.

Welcome To 4PlayJeep The UKs Number One Jeep Parts And Accessories Company - Welcome to 4PlayJeep, Spares, Accessories and Jeep Servicing.

Go to this web site, search under the WJ model and you'l find the entire range he stocks, but heres the page for the rear bushes only:

Superpro poly bushes - Mounts/Bushes - SuperPro Rear End Poly Bush Kit - Welcome to 4PlayJeep, Spares, Accessories and Jeep Servicing.

I assume you'll be able to locate a "Superpro" outlet in the USA ? Probably cheaper than UK prices too !!

Re: err control arms- poly bushes

Thanks! I just did some searching and the dealers in the US don't have the Jeep stuff on their sites. Hmmm
