finally collecting parts

So short back story. I had a lot planned for the WJ to do over winter, got side tracked with working lots, and little projects on the house. We also starting looking into a newer vehicle for the wife, and possible for me too. For me i looked at a few trucks, and looked closely at 2 trailblazer SS's, and 1 SRT8 WK. Loved the Jeep, but had to rule it out when the wife picked a 2012 Dodge Journey R/T as her new vehicle because we need to tow our boat. So looked close at the 2 TBSS, and just couldnt do it...love the LS2, hate the 4 speed auto (just terrible), the 545RFE is so much better! So I had to pass, awesome performaning SUV tho, and can tow 8000lbs!!. So decided to dump way less money than a newer vehicle into the WJ and keep for a few years.

Anyways, heres what I have ordered thus far...
New blistiens for all 4 corners
Addco Rear sway
4x Nitto NT 4205s (245/40R20)
Slotted rotors for front

What im still trying to decide on...
SRT8 Jeep reps or SRT10 Viper reps (both 20x9).
Projector Headlights and HID kit
Which double din Nav unit to get
Which brake pads

The (cheap/free) mods I am doing...
Pull all interior trim and paint Piano Black
Put a Blue strip offset on jeep (like this...

Paint calipers matching blue
Tint front windows

Long term ideas (will be expensive and probably not worth it, but if I have time, why not!!)
See if there is anyway to add some shifting control to our trans controller via programming (works in WK (same trans) so i dont see why not)
Then use paddle shifters to control shifting (this is the easy part).
Take my time and attempt to build some shorty headers...just for fun really
Small supercharger (run 2-4 PSI for around 300-330 HP) trying to keep it conservative and reliable, but increase the fun (Do a simple kit using available parts, i have a few ideas)
Get a spare ECU to play with programming for S/C.

Re: finally collecting parts

picked up a Eaton M112 supercharger today...pulled it off a wrecked lightning with 51k miles on the odometer this morning at the local help yourself scrap yard...75 bucks. Ordered a refresher kit for it...60 bucks.

Not bad all for under 150. Now to get in touch with air ram see if they still have those adapters, otherwise its time to get measuring and cutting!

also picked up some blaze blue plastidip and glossifier to see if i like the blue stripe or if it just looks dumb on the jeep. will try that once it warms up a bit.
heres what blaze blue looks like next to black so im thinking it should be close to final product.
stole picture off google for the blaze blue

EDIT: looking into getting wheels next...cant decide SRT8 WK1 reps, set local wiht tires for 700, so i could save the nittos til next summer. or the SRT10 viper reps...anyone have a pic of those on a WJ or can photoshop them?

Re: finally collecting parts

Viper wheels on a WJ??

This is the only decent thread on it. The Photoshop pics are gone but judging by everyones reaction I would say that they looked pretty sweet. You would be the first to do it that I know of.
