First post 2002 special edition modding begins! (pics)

Great site!!
Very helpful and informative!!
Have 2002 special edition silver with the 4.7., only "performance" mod(so far being muffler delete.
Seriously think this is a 'factory freak', as this thing screws!!

Here's a few pics of many a mod the I have planned .
Feedback greatly appreciated.

:-
carbon fiber wrap begins
short antenna, chrome wheel skins and tires, some reflective vinyl wrap, seen in pics (reflecting from flash), the wrap is actually black, all blue led interior, did the gauge cluster blue will post pics when dark, ...
Avital remote start installed as its freaking cold up here..

-GREAT NAVIGATION MOD to share FOR UNDER $100 BUCKS!! (refer to pic)
Sort've discovered by accident...
Wanting navigation but not wanting to pay tons for a new head unit, etc...
Bought a garmin, and I mounted it in the open ashtray with velcro strip under it.
:a great spot to see it, yet not a distraction, dont have to remove as its not noticed as much down there, and its on as car starts plugged into accessory outlet.

Hello to all!!

Nice looking Jeep. How difficult is the carbon fiber wrapping? I bought my newest Jeep in November and have been dying to get rid of the wood grain trim in it. Just haven't got around to it.

Re :muffler delete, it resonates like hell, but still not as bad as many mufflers I've had over the years. Frustrating as wanting/willing to purchase a corsa catback (WHICH IS THE ONLY ) system that doesn't resonate and sound sick. They don't make a system for a wj 4.7....I've spoken with corsa many times directly stating how many people mod their exhausts on wj's, but to no avail.

Headlights replaced...
14 years on originals was enough...
Put on set of chrome limiteds...

Quality product.

Before....
And after.....

Nice and good looking.
Got a question about the Garmin. Did I read right that it turns on with the car? I have a Tom Tom and have to turn it on and off with the button. I'd so like to be able to skip that.

I'm picking up an 02 Laredo at the end of the month. I'll keep an eye on this thread to see how your doing.
