Re: Hi from Wales - UK

I take it this is the Platinum on a 54 plate you are looking at? I have an 05 and for that money is excellent value as long as it ticks all the boxes!

As others have said! Basic checks! VIN to log book etc. Then fluids, engine, tranfer noise etc. history, then down to little things as they all cost money! Brakes (disc's pads), bonnet/Tail gate and glass struts etc. Will show if the Jeep has been looked after.

Good look!

Keep us informed

Re: Hi from Wales - UK

Found another one local to me.
I've test drove it and the owner was more than willing to let me give it a 'bit' so he had nothing to hide :-

Re: Hi from Wales - UK

I bought it mate, what a beauty. Just want to go outside and listen to the burble and watch the car rocks when you rev!!!
My bro works in a bodyshop so can do the cosmetics so I'm happy that the mechanicals are sound. Took me bloody ages to figure out the internal lights staying on crap tho
Shame is that the mrs loves it too !!!!
Can't believe that you can cruise at 90 at 2500 !!!!! Bonkers.
These engines must last forever if looked after. Loving it already.
Big smiles on my face and I can't wait till my 3 year old gets in it in the morning to see his nan and bamp in a big FO V8 !!!
You guys may not believe my joy in this from going from a 170 bhp ford ST24 to a VW transporter 1.9TD 68 bhp and then to this baby.
Quote a welsh based movie 'twin town' - I f##kin loves it!!!
Happy days and I can't wait to get more involved on here.
Regards all,
Paul.
