I believe they were around 30K fully loaded. I could be wrong. I remember looking it up when I had my 99 WJ and it was somewhere around there. Jeep's period are so expensive.
I bought my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited with Quadra Drive..4.7 v8 when it was 3 years old. Previous owner still ha the window sticker and without going to the garage to look...I think it retailed at $32-34,000 brand new. It has about every option imaginable at that time. I paid $16k cash for it with 34,000 miles on the odometer. Today it has about 210,000 miles. I've done some of the usual issue fixes on it...had some starter issues..it's on it's 3rd one since i've owned it but I can't complain. It's been a damn good vehicle. IF i could afford another 3 year old jeep, I'd definately buy one BUT with tires being around 260 each and gas back over $3.00/gallon, I'm keeping the jeep but getting a small car now. Just can't part with my jeep.
My '01 Limited with Quadradrive and a 4.7 stickered between 38-39K. With the exception of the cold weather group/block heater, it had every available option.
My WJ Overland brand new in '04 was $41k with just about every option available and I bought mine for $6k in Sept '13. Does anyone know where I can get the original factory rock rails for a reasonable price? They have rust spots on both and one of them rusted through. Thinking of getting nerf bars on the WJ if it can't be fixed or find cheap rails.
My 02 Laredo E (leather) with 4.7, Selectrac, sunroof, trailer tow stickered for 34.500. I paid 30500 less 3000 rebate for 27,500$
To give you an idea, POS Toyota Highlanders with leather and decent stereos with their wimpy AWD were over 35K with no rebates, POS Outaback were 28-30K$.
