Talking I'm back in a Jeep

Well my 02 GC Laredo had a energetic disassembly at 220K so I was without Jeep for a while. Well now I'm Jeepin agin in a 2000 Grande Cherokee Limited, 4.7, Select Track. And it feels good.

Thank you, now to find some Key Fobs and check on some minor problems like door speakers that rattle and things like that. nothing major.

Re: I'm back in a Jeep

That is the best analogy I have seen . I was not happy while I was Jeepless even though Jeeps can be maintenance heavy and have flaws. I just feel better driving a Jeep. Just this morning I noticed water leaking, haven't had time to check it out, but it's OK it's my Jeep.

I had a XJ for 2 years than sold it. Owned two cars and a fullsize truck only to comeback to a WJ which is what I really wanted when I got the XJ. I love the way they drive and how easy they are to park Once Jeep gets in your blood it is all over. Now if I could only afford a WK2 for the wife.

Re: I'm back in a Jeep

the more you drive it the more you will want to. I am happier in my Jeep than any other auto I have owned, they just grow on you. I have things that need doing, rear hatch and window supports, thermostat housing leak and I need to find a CD cartridge for the CD player all small stuff but I will get it done one step at a time.

I felt that way about the reg cab short bed 94 Dakota with the 5.2 that I owned for 8 years. The WJ is a close 2nd for me and I plan on keeping it as long as nothing major happens to it.
