Interior Electric Door Panel Issues

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone knows anything about some issues regarding th. Driver door locks and Windows won't work when driver door is open. Any suggestions?

Yeah, haven't personally had the issue but have heard of a lot of others.
Apparently there Is an issue with the black wires that are all bundled up together.
Not sure if they get crimped, or exactly what the issue is. But it will keep you from rolling Windows down or locking door when it's open....
Only heard of the drivers side personally.
Maybe someone else can chip in the exact cause/cure of issue.

Re: Interior Electric Door Panel Issues

The wires in the door boot are just too rigid and after flexing many times (door open/close), they tend to break. This is for the WJ, don´t know how it is for the WK though.
