When jacking by the frame I have always used the cross member that is under the transfer case, I figure thats a pretty strong point. The reason you are not supposed to jack from under the differential or the axle tube is because on most/all WJ's they are made of aluminum, which could bend under the weight of the vehicle being applied from a point it wasn't designed to.
