Haha my bad, I must not have been paying attention.

Speaking of the Flowmaster 70, how does it sound? I know a lot of people like the sound of the 44 with not that much drone. I like the sound of the 10 but I'm afraid of the potential drone.

Yeah, I get that.

I just ordered the exhaust from Nick (Kolak) yesterday. I'll certainly post pictures and sound clips once all the goodies arrive and I get a chance to spend some time in the garage. My schedule is pretty busy the next few weeks!

I have heard about these. Kolak actually mentioned them (I think he sells them too?) when I spoke with him about the exhaust system. I will be towing my 1990 BMW e30 race car to the track and he said they added a good bit of stability for towing. What do you know about them?

Re: Just picked up a 2004 Overland 4x4

I finally got a chance to detail the old girl and give her a bath!

2004 GC Overland Pictures

I also got a chance to put the K&N CAI on and play with SuperChips Tuner. I decided to go with the 87 Octane tune for now. I had some issues with the torque converter not staying locked up in overdrive on a road trip this past weekend. Some nice people here pointed me to the Throttle Position Sensor. It's only a $35 part so I went ahead and replaced the TPS while I was in there. I really like the tune. The shifts are firm and you can feel/hear the power increase especially with the intake. Still waiting for the exhaust to arrive.

Paint looks amazing! Very nice on the K&N...the filter condom REALLY helps keep the filter clean.

Great looking jeep and nice work so far! Glad you got the problems straightened out quickly. Gotta love the superchips, that and sway bars are probably my 2 favorite mods.

Jillian's new home in the garage

In preparation for upcoming modifications and a permanent new home, I cleared out some space in the garage for "Jillian". The garage is plenty big for 2 large vehicles but there is only one single width garage door. I have to use GoJack Dollys to move cars to the side. A slight PITA but the other one only gets moved once every two months or so when it goes to the racetrack or on a neighborhood test drive.

I'm looking forward to getting more acquainted with the Jeep. I've decided to do the Addco 1" rear sway bay with the Energy Suspension greaseable polyurethane bushings. I'm going to be towing the other car around quite a bit. How do the stock end links hold up? Should I be looking into some aftermarket ones with poly bushings?

With the SuperChips 87 Octane tune and the K&N I've noticed about -2mpg on the interstate I'm going to experiment with the MileageXS tune next.

The Kolak exhaust parts are starting to arrive as well. Thus far, I've received the tip and the converter.
