Re: Latest detailing....PIC WHORING AGAIN

Wow, looks really good. I've been researching and watching videos all night trying to figure out how to properly detail. Looks like the Porter Cable 7424 is a good machine at a decent price. You mentioned the green, white and black pads, what brand are you using?

Oh, and what do you do if it rains on your way to work the next morning...

Thanks dude! I'm using the Lake County pads. I got them and the polisher, along with some other stuff from our vendor here...detailed image with our forum discount.

Get some nanosealant on there. It was pouring down today, Jeep washed itself on the way home.

Washed it last Tuesday and probably won't bother doing it again for another 2-3 weeks. Stays so clean its crazy. Wheels get grubby but I don't really care about them.

I might give that a shot next time I'm ordering up detailing goodies. So far I've had great luck with the Blackfire sealant and a coat or 4 of UW on top. The rain rolls right off of mine too, but it's never "perfect" after it rains until it gets another bath.
