Leaking Heater Core -- Bars Aluminum Stop Leak?

I have a 99 WJ with a leaking heater core... I am only going to have the Jeep for about 6 more months, so I don't really want to tear apart the dash to replace the heater core.

Would you recommend Bar's Aluminum Stop Leak? I've also heard a few tablespoons of pepper will work.

Recommendations?

Re: Leaking Heater Core -- Bars Aluminum Stop Leak?

I've used it in the past...along with some other stop leak products when I was in HS and couldn't afford to repair it right away. Nothing worked, and that stuff is no good for the internals. Are you selling it or scrapping it?

None of those "quick fix" products work for more than a few weeks and "home remedies" pretty much don't work at all.
