Maybe a silly question...

I have a 2004 grand cherokee rocky mountain edition and I was wondering if anyone knew what sub model it would be classified as. When I search for aftermarket parts it asks me if it's laredo, special edition or limited and I'm not for sure which one to pick. If anyone could shed some light on this I would greatly appreciate it.

Re: Maybe a silly question...

Is the body fully painted or do you have the plastic side cladding and bumpers?

Re: Maybe a silly question...

I think all the "editions" are versions of the Laredo. That includes Rocky Mountain, Freedom, Columbia, and "Special editions". Limiteds are limiteds, and Overlands are Overlands.

T is correct - Pulled the VIN on my Columbia Edition and it shows up as a Laredo.

Re: Maybe a silly question...

Almost every website always has an option to choose special edition and Laredo though. So which would be correct?

No problem...good on you for getting it right. I can't tell you how annoying it is to be looking for a specific trim level and you miss out on most of them because people (mostly dealers) don't create the ad correctly and don't list specifics.
