Re: My New WJ!

I just joined the forum, and also just bought my first WJ. I traded in my 99 Wrangler. I love my new jeep.

Re: My New WJ!

That is one clean WJ. Is it weird that the one thing I dig most is the steering wheel cover? haha

Haha, I love that thing. It feels really nice and it only cost $8 at Advance Auto!

Re: My New WJ!

OK, so here's what I plan on doing within the next 3 weeks.

-Paint the calipers red.
-New spark plugs.
-Fix my power seat.
-Switch to synthetic oil (I need an oil change anyways...)
-Try to fix my cladding! (Big ass pain!)

Any suggestions? If I can get a hold of just one jack would I be able to paint my calipers my self or would I need more than one?

Also, is there any way I can get a different shifter knob such as one from a WK or are they not interchangeable?

Re: My New WJ!

Personally I would remove the pinstriping and rerun those wires in the engine bay. I have a big pet peeve when it comes to wires just floating over engine bays. Id also leave the calipers alone or spray the black, they're not brembos so they shouldnt be red. Again my personal opinion, you can do what makes you happy. Other than that she is a beauty.
