Mystery part identification - help!

Hello! I'm new here, and this seems like exactly the place I need to be

I have a 2004 Grand Cherokee Laredo, and today, whilst installing my new cabin air filter kit, I happened upon a thing. I am unable to identify this thing, but my somewhat educated guesses led me to think that it's a thing that holds another thing, possibly two other things. My question then would be, "why isn't it holding said thing/things? Is this dangerous?"

Some back story: I was in a crash last year, and I was without my Jeep for a long time while it was being repaired. So, this part could also just be a random thing from the body shop that randomly landed in my Jeep!

To clarify, this was lying on the surface of the cabin air intake chamber, not attached to anything. Any advice or help with this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know how to upload images to these forums, so here are links to the dropbox files. I hope this works!

Thanks again!

Re: Mystery part identification - help!

Welcome to the garage.
This part seems to be a clamp which is used to hold the two heater hoses. It should be mounted opposite from the TCM connector.
