Picked up my jeep from firestone Sunday and everything worked properly, today on way to work on tollway, my over head info center is showing hash marks, my spedo is bouncing around bit rpm stable the dash is illuminated but no outside lamps, my Windows dont work, and keyless entry doesn't have the verification honk. The yellow key lamp goes on/off

Check first the wires in the drivers door boot. Sounds as a problem with the PCI data bus. Did it rain lately?

PCI bus problems many times start after water enters the C200 connector on the bulkhead, but that is most probably not your case.
So look first at the drivers and passengers door boot for broken wire. If you will not find anything wrong there, the troubleshooting will become a bit more complicated.

Do you have the automatic zone control HVAC? Was the aftermarket alarm installed this weekend or what other work has been done?

No idea why this happens, but one of the components on the PCI data bus had a hickup and disturbed the data communication. The battery disconnect reset it.

The speedo gets its speed signal via the PCI bus from the PCM. The PCM in its turn gets the info from the ABS controller, which uses the rear wheel speed sensors for this.
Sure all other systems are working properly? You could do the instrument self test to see if there is something wrong with the cluster: With ignition in off, press the odometer reset button and now switch ignition in run. All instrument panel lights will light up, all indicators go full scale and return to normal position and the odometer will count 11111, 2222 etc. Does the speedometer pointer move smoothly?

Normally yes, when you would have an ABS problem, then the ABS light would come on. Does the instrument self test work ok?

I would try disconnecting the alternator wire (isolate it to prevent short). I heard similar problems before caused by a bad alternator. Just to see if the problems go away.

Resistance values should be from 900-1300 ohms, but i would not expect a problem there, otherwise you would have gotten the ABS light.

This point towards the alternator. I would still try the alternator disconnect and testdrive a bit.
Did you try the ac on/off?

So then you are now sure who the culprit is behind all your problems. Besides the alternator itself, the problem could be with the PCM, which holds the regulator.
