ONLY replacing CAM Sensor and Oil Pump Drive
I'm not doing a 4.0 rebuild, just have this horrible tick coming from the CMP Sensor and perhaps the oil pump drive. I want to change them both. Do I have to find the timing and properly set the fuel flow with a DRB Tool? or can I just swap?
The FSM States:
"If the CMP and oil pump drive are to be removed and installed, do not allow engine crankshaft or camshaft to rotate. CMP sensor relationship will be lost."
I don't plan on that happening
"If engine crankshaft or camshaft has been rotated, such as during engine tear-down, CMP sensor relationship must be reestablished." Then its "#1 spark plug BS, blah blah blah procedure." <--- just changing tem out that's all.
What I need to know is, am I just plug and play here? Ya know, line up the old marks with the new and call it good.
