Talking Pictures of my new JGC Platinum

Firstly,
Thanks for your Welcome's to the site!

I have gained some good knowledge from here about my JGC LTD which I had for two & half years, I only changed due to a special one coming up for sale.

Let me know what you think!

It is a JGC Platinum based on the Overland with the 4.7 V8 H.O. engine, the only one to have!

It was lauched as an interim model along with XS due to there being a year between the WK coming to the UK?

Love those fender-mount turn signal indicators. Sharp ride!

Very nice, love the white piping on the black leather - very Range Rover esq.

Any plans for it?

I have upgraded the headlights to Gen3 Projectors and 4300k HIDs (had them fitted to my old Jeep), other than that just some rain sheilds for the windows. Insurance companies in the UK don't like mods!

Just noticed you are in Scotland!

Re: Pictures of my new JGC Platinum

I had Gen3's and XenonDepot XtremeHID Philips 4300k on mine but I didn't feel they were really suited to RHD?

Did you have any issues with them dazzling people, and I guess you take them out come MoT time?

I adjusted the beam on the Gen 3s to the lowest setting never got round to setting them up properly and took them out and run the OEMs and normal bulbs again.

Kit is in the attic gathering dust!

Re: Pictures of my new JGC Platinum

Beautiful Jeep! So is that titled as an '05 then in the UK? That would be a true rarity.

We didn't get the Wk until 2006 so they made x2 special editions for 2004 to 2005 last of the WJ XS (based on the Limited) and the Platinum (based on the Overland), with the colour trim and mileage (53500) I couldn't let it go!

This is how it looks today (needs a wash)
