Power Mirror question

on my 03 Grand Cherokee Limited, the driver side power mirror will not hold position (with memory or not) and every time i drive it i have to manually adjust it with the switch, and the passenger mirror is working perfectly fine. anything i can do to correct the issue? Or would i need to replace the mirror to fix it?

Re: Power Mirror question

Can the mirror be moved by hand without much force? Or does the drive motor change position?

it can be moved up or down without too much force.

Re: Power Mirror question

Did you compare the force needed to move the mirror with the passengers side mirror? If the force is much lower on the drivers side, most probably the mirror itself is faulty then.
