Re: putting aftermarket lsd or selectable lockers on a quadra trac 2 help

Trac-loks are Ok and will get you thru. I would recommend a front select-able though. I ran a Trac lok in a 35c in my YJ ,Due to the higher probability of snapping a shaft. Then i ran a ECTd in the front . I didnt have any trouble at all.

The Trac-lok is just a ( I think) low bais. This mean it might take a little slippage before it kicks in .
To defeat this ,you could ride the brake a bit and she lock right up.

You also will have to remember to add the additive or run full syn. for gear lube.
