Removing the Tranny Fluid Pan

I want to remove the tranny fluid pan to do filter change. However, there is a 13mm bolt that is obstructed by I don't what it is. Has anyone run up against this problem? How did you get this pan bolt off? I bought a flex head wrench that I will try.
