Tell me about the rear wheel bearings...

... although they are pre greased new (I bought Timken) Ive read elswhere that it is the oil on the diff that actually keeps them lubricated after fitment.
Is that true ?
(Ive got a 2004 with Qudradrive and use the full syth oil in the diff)

Yes, that is true. The bearings are lubricated by the diff fluid.

Thanks for confirming that.
I watched a youtube video recently and the guy was packing more grease into the bearing before he installed it. Had me worried Id got it all wrong and my recently installed bearing would fail !!
