When you're all done under there, you might want to do a nice de-greasing and spray some protectant under there to keep hoses and stuff from drying out. I use Simple Green, a soft brush, the garden hose on very low pressure, and after it dries, I hit it with a product called CD-2 engine detailer. It leaves everything nice and clean with a low gloss and keeps the hoses and rubber nice and flexible.

I'm goin the same route, tryin to be different than others for the most part. I think you may be on to something with the blue and black color scheme. What else do you plan on making black on the exterior?

While they don't have a huge contrast from each other, the combo looks great. I'm running almost all black accents on my patriot blue and I get compliments all the time.
