Yeah, I'm not so sure you'll get good light transfer through plasti-dip. If you're dead set on doing this yourself, VHT makes a paint just for this called nightshades, but I'd recommend sending them to Scott in our vendor's section. He did this:

Honestly, I don't remember how much I paid. I also had a 3rd brake light done while I was at it. I was already using LED bulbs from V-LED's...when the lights are on, it's like nothing was ever tinted. Here are a few more shots

Those are the Gen 3 projectors...I love mine! Of course I had to take care of the hideous orange reflector on the side (they don't show them in the photos) but other than that, you can't go wrong! Especially with a nice HID kit
