How much does that skid weigh? Caught my attention on some other stuff too.

Re: Tired of tripping over this Sh@t

If I recall right nothing too terrible bro. We don't even have a scale here so I'm gonna have to pick one up to see at least a ballpark on shipping this stuff.I definitely believe everything is standard shippable though.

Re: Tired of tripping over this Sh@t

When you get ready to move this stuff I am thinking about a package deal...
- Moog Ujoint package (inc cardigan ball/spring kit, 5 ujoints all greasable)
- Complete brand new Moog greasable ball joint set (all 4 greasable)
- Complete Moog tie rod end set (greasable)
- tcase skid

Re: Tired of tripping over this Sh@t

So THAT'S what's causing my mental lapses....I'll try cutting that out of my routine.

So you got your new(er) garage all set up yet?

Thanks for bringing that up bro No garage yet which has all but ended moddin anything till spring. After feeding that "thing" in the basement about $2K's worth of no.2 last winter we decided we better get some blown in insulation in this place. That plus I bought Karen(me) the TJ this spring and that was pretty much the death of the garage for 2014. It's on the books for '15 but we'll see as I want to modernize the house wiring and redo the driveway this year. No matter what We're putting in the service ditch and conduit, drains and pouring the slab in the spring so all they have to do is slap the building up. Two more years and this place is paid for so I'm avoiding the bank at all costs. Just a lot slower this way. So you want to see cheap's temporary command center? Ok you asked for it. My little 6'x8' shed I had to add 4' onto just to fit my quad with the plow on. I REALLY miss my 24'x32' man cave.

Well at least I have 220 out there so I can run my compressor and welder. I think I used every mm of space because I actually have most of my garage in there. It truly is a marvel of engineering right up there with the Eiffel Tower and such.

Re: Tired of tripping over this Sh@t

I think the Discover channel has a series called "little homes"...where they share tips and tricks on maximizing your space. I think you can go "up" or maybe dig a pit and have the quad on a lift so it pops up out of the ground when needed.

Kudos for making it work buddy...I'm not sure I could cram most of my crap in that space. I guess insulation is more important...maybe....

I've seen your garage bro. I should take notes because you are the pioneer of the no wasted space concept.

My mantra has always been...."build it right the 2nd time"

Next up in the garage-mahal is maybe some corrugated metal panels to cover the entire ceiling for light reflection and good looks, and some black pipe racking overhead for additional storage and the occasional chin up.
