Re: Turn 100k Today

All depends on how the maintenance was done before. If you know the history, you could just follow the attached maint schedule.( sorry, but canīt attach the schedule with 100K, because i just had attached it to an other thread before and it doesnīt allow me to do it again). If you donīt know it and you want to use the jeep for a long time, you should better do it all:
1) Change engine oil and filter.
2) Change air filter
3) Check/change spark plugs
4) Change PCV valve
5) Change brake fluid (should be done every 2 years)
6) Check coolant color, if it looks rusty, change it immediately. If not known when changed before, better to change it anyway, because old coolant lost its additives and can cause corrosion. Also flush the system.
7) Change the transmission fluid and filters
8) Change the differential fluid.
9) Change the T-case fluid.
10) Lubricate the brake caliper sliding pins to prevent the brakes from binding.

This will keep you from the street for a while and keeps the jeep on the street.

Shocks, swap bar bushings/end links, front end parts like ball joints/tie rod ends as needed to name a few.
