Re: Update on project carbon fiber dragon wing panels

well I was wanting to update my front grille for the updated conversion at some point. I would rather test a few out first then make a bunch and then people having issues with fitting. I would rather address these first before a full production run and since your in OH i am in IN(Indy). Maybe we can check it out. (GreenWithEnvy) is getting a set to test as well. But if I prototype 3 different fits then we should have it all covered and then set for production run on these.

Also I am looking for a few stock parts to play with as well let me know if you got any laying around.

Re: Update on project carbon fiber dragon wing panels

The only stock parts I have left lying around are rear glass hinges, the rear glass handle, the rear glass washer squirter, and the front plate bracket.

Re: Update on project carbon fiber dragon wing panels

Ok here is what I came up with for price on the"dragon wing" flat panel pieces a left and a right. $200 shipped for the "dragon wings" They kind of look crazy just sitting there like a pair of wings (or mouth kind of towards the hood latch. These are almost production ready. Should be for sale to the jeep community next week. If your thinking about getting done let me know through PM or email me at synergycomposites@hotmail.com.

I have a carbon fiber dead pedal that is almost complete just waiting on some good adhesive here and a snazzy way to secure it and some cosmetics to play with.
These should be for sale at $75 shipped.

Also check out in the sub forum up top on the page for airguides for the WJ. I have had these on my vehicle for 2 months seems to make a good noticeable effect on cooling. Seems like more power because the fan is having to run less.
These should be just about ready as well for production $200 shipped for a complete set.

Re: Update on project carbon fiber dragon wing panels

Yeah those prices are ball park I am trying to bring them down a bit so everyone can benefit from them.
My target price is $150 for the wings but I may do a package deal that will include all the pieces 2 flat panels, the top and bottom of the radiator and the side panels for a complete kit. $325 shipped for the complete kit. i think that is more of a true price with the cost of construction and time put in to make the parts.

These parts are 100% carbon fiber and I use no use any fiberglass on these parts. These are strong light weight/rigid parts that duct/channel air in to the radiator for better cooling and channels some air towards the intake as well. Instead of the air spilling over and around the radiator like the stock system does.

Re: Update on project carbon fiber dragon wing panels

I think $325 for the whole kit is a decent price!
