Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

Paint looks deep and glossy! You'll be glad you de-badged some of it everytime you go to clean it. Love the Columbia/Freedom editions.

fin, lots of folks use fishing line to cut through the adhesive. I was able to slowly peel mine off with the ol' fingernail. I then clayed the area, did an IPA wipe, and compounded/polished/waxed. It's like they were never there.

When the fuse blows then there is a short somewhere. Check the wires for chaving, especially where they pass around some metalic structure.

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

What I didn't do to my WJ next:
Decided to tow my quad to the Blue Knob ATV run Sat with Karen's Exploder. A case of Bud,a whole parking field full of mud plus 40 mi of muddy trails plus my Jeep tucked in the garage nice and shiny = a damn good time.........well at least till she got a look at her truck the next day Sh@t still dragging on the road under there It will all fall off eventually...I hope.

You did her a favor...free undercoating. That should help keep the Ford from rusting out...

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

Haha, I knew you would. I was searching all your pics today deciding on tire size. Went with 255/45s all around. Here in omaha we finally had a discount tire open up. I priced a srt8 tire package online and went there with copy of deal, guy beat the price and ordered the package today. Will be here and installed next week. I'm pumped. After taking the lift off, it already feels like a go cart handling wise, but after new wheels tires, and steering stabalizer I ordered, it's gonna be amazing.

(And some anti-roll bars).

Guys-looks like I'm staying with the 4.0 for at least a while. It was pretty sluggish towing the soling behind(3500lb total), but was solid at 70 with the trailer behind, and that's what matters the most.

4.0 is running fantastically on Valvoline ML NG. After another 2,000 miles, I'm gonna try PYB, as I've heard it runs really well in the 4.0.

Stick some Bilstein shocks on it and you would be even more amazed. What are you doing with the Rubi wheels?
