Yup. I'm all over your suspension thread. I'm waiting to see how you overall like it and if I should go through with it. How much more height do you think you'll gain off of it?

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

Over what I have now....probably about 3/4". The thing is I wasn't looking for more lift here. I was happy the way it is but I definitely want a better ride. That 3/4" is just an added bonus. Hope it doesn't make my tires look too small because I'll have a hard time justifying another set of new tires to the "boss". I'll keep ya posted bro.

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

True. But it would be awesome to have a lift and still maintain a "stock" ride quality. I've heard a lot of good things about this Long Arm kit so hopefully they are all true!

Can't have puny tires. That's a no-no. Get some new meat!

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

My freebie amp died so I actually had to "buy" this one from my nephew for $25. It was scratched up silver so I painted it black.

Found this at a yard sale today for $5 Not for a WJ but about as close as you can get without being the right one.

New bolts for the fuel filter. Speaking of fuel filter, I've got a weird hissing sound yet no leaks coming from that exact area right now. Something fishy is going on. Is there anywhere to buy replacement clicky connectors for the fuel line connections? I think old worn out connectors might be causing the hissing.

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

Oil change! Napa 1515 filter and 6.5 qts of 5w30 Napa synthetic oil. The larger filter takes an additional 1/2 qt of oil. Time to rotate tires...

I think the new filters have trapped air in them for awhile. Mine made a weird humming noise for about 2-3 weeks after I replaced it.

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

Just bought some smoked projectors, they will be here Thursday. Pics will be posted!

Now I just need to figure out what to do with the front end.. I am not a fan of a lot black on the midnight blue. Smoked headlights are not going to be too bad since the inside of them is all chrome, but they definitely aren't going to match the chrome accents going on in the front grill and fascia.. Maybe there is a way to keep the chrome and just give it a shiny "Tinted" look? Idk.. I have to look into it further. Any ideas? I am also going to take the fogs out and tint them to match the headlights.

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

CheapJeep,
That is exactly what I have been looking into. If no other ideas seem to accumulate I feel that I will be going that route... Never used it or seen it used before so I am a little hesitant.
