Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

hahaha I thought about that about half-way. I can only imagine if a cop had driven past and seen this kid in the middle of a shopping center washing his car at 3 am in a part of town that you don't want to be in after midnight lol.

I would suggest something a little tougher if you've got it off. Maybe a roll-on truck bedliner? POR-15 is really tough stuff too, but you'll pay for it. Mine has a few coats of rustoleum that I applied with a brush and a small roller while installed. It's holding up well, but needs a touch up after every winter.

Who am I kidding...if mine ever came off, it would be carbon fiber dipped...

Fixed a formerly repaired wire in the wiring harness between the driver's door and body. Dome lights, power windows, and power locks now work again.

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

Did a front brake job today. Painted front calipers red (would have preferred a different color a little less "loud", but... ) .. it looks good with the Plasti-dipped JK rims I did today!! I have Wrangler Unlimited X steel wheels on my Grand Cherokee and I've been contemplating it since I bought them, just never knew how to do it the RIGHT way until I came here to this site. So I did the wheels and center caps and with the chrome lug nuts, and yes, the red calipers, she looks AWESOME! Tomorrow, the REAR brakes...and painted calipers.

Thanks for asking bro but pretty much a travesty so far. They still don't have everything out of there so as they clear out a room we go clean ,paint and move our sh@t in. So as it stands now we're still here in a half empty house,we're half moved, the Jeep's half done, my camper or mobile storage shed as I now like to call it is half full of my now empty garage,I'm more than half broke and need to get back to work and I'm usually half drunk by 3pm 'cause I can't get anything else done. Seriously it's not all that bad but waiting on other people just drives me up a wall.
