Seriously it's not all that bad but waiting on other people just drives me up a wall.
Me too buddy...waiting on other people (especially ones with no sense of urgency) sucks. Hey, at least you're CLEARLY 1/2 done with everything. Could be worse, right?

If it makes you feel any better, my garage-mahal is in various states of disarray right now. I've got new flooring coming in today that I hope to get installed this afternoon, then start building it back up (new workbench from scratch, new shelving, new galvanized metal pegboard, suspended bypass barn doors to hide the shelving, outlets getting moved, switches getting run for outlets to run fans and other doo-dads, etc.) All in 90 degree heat. With any luck, I'll be done by next weekend. So when you're moving one room at a time, imagine my poor Jeep, out in the rain while I swing hammers in the garage. If only I had a large rainbow umbrella to shield it from the weather....

Got transmission service, replace transmission cooler lines, and one other hose. I've realized the grey plastic trim looks whitened and getting worse and have no idea what to do except maybe replace with OEM parts.

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

What's up guys, just checking back in on the forum to see how you all are getting on. The Jeep bug has bitten me again and I will be back in the seat of one probably Spring time next year, with either a WK 5.7 or WK SRT8, going to probably hold out for a SRT though - rare beasts here...

All your Jeep's are still looking sweet, just surprised Tony hasn't dipped his full truck yet! LOL

SouthBay, you can actually just paint the plastic trim on your Jeep. Ryan, 99limited, done this a little while back and the results were very good - click here to go to the thread. He put the instructions on page 2. Would work out a lot cheaper than renewing everything and easier - the door moulding is a PITA to remove...

Southbay, don't listen to Marty...you should clearly CF dip everything...

That's good to hear Marty! Looking forward to seeing what you do with an SRT

Believe me that panelling is a complete PITA to remove, bodyshop had to charge me extra for removing it to paint it to remove the little chips etc. However, it is possible and CF would actually look pretty good.

Yeah, I miss tinkering on stuff, everything that adds power to the Merc costs $$$$'s and the results aren't worth it (ie. $2k for a CF airbox to gain 10hp - yeah right!)... Either 5.7 or 6.1 I could purchase a supercharger kit for not that much more than that to net 100HP+.
