There's been a card stuck in his spokes for a while now anyhow the new thing is zip ties on the driveshaft. I don't know if the 4.0 uses a donut gasket or not but it sounds like the manifold to downpipe joint.

Finally installed my new axle shaft. Realized a little too late that you don't have to take the cover off and pull the pin out to get the c clip out. Damn!! Wasted a bunch of time doing that. But got it done now!

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

Used a few zip ties to hid my trailer hitch wiring harness then wiped down the interior.

Had to put in the new ac blower resistor today. My old one finally gave out. Since I live in Texas... $130 to make sure I have ac is a no brainer.

Has any one installed a double din stereo? I'm about to get a new one and I don't know if I want to modify for a double din or just get a flip up. I've also been looking at the one that's make for the wj's. But I don't know if I want to spend $400 for a 4" screen. If any one has one, I'd like to know how you like it.

sent from my S3

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

I know a few people here have done it. They modified the radio surround piece to fit the double din.

Check the audio section. There should be some threads on it.

Regearing to 4:56, air locker, RCV axle in front complete, trussed, gussetted, very happy. Next major work will be D60 for rear with Clayton long arms, will have unibody gussetted at that time too.

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

Finally installed my LED Halos. It took a lot longer than I expected too. My Jeep was in an accident a few years ago and I got it fixed for pretty cheap and today I figured out why. The body shop only replaced the parts that were absolutely necessary and did a work around for everything else such, as screwing a hole in the bottom of the headlight through the bumper to keep in place because section for the regular screw was broken off and should've been replaced. Once I figured out how my car was Frankensteined together everything else was pretty simple.

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

I had mine out this weekend too...I thought I had a bulb out. Luckily it turned to just be the 30A fuse for that ballast. The Jeep got a quick bath too, but other than that I spent my weekend finishing up the metal work in the "garage-mahal".

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

Upgraded to CCFL's and put HID's in the fogs. The old fogs need replaced and they sent smoked lens instead of clear, but they'll do for now. (I know, I still gotta get rid of that dang amber lol)
