Yeah I checked all the fuses and relays. I had my neighbor come over and poke around and hes a mechanic for 20+ years and he couldnt figure it out. So ive decided screw it, there is a shop nearby that does free diagnostics, im going to just take it there tomorrow and let them figure It out. Then once they tell me whats wrong ill go home and fix it myself.

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

just done a couple of mods to the wj
put some projector halo lights in got from ebay used cheap should have spent the extra as thay where pretty bad shape brackets snapped and wireing was bodged up with then stupid blue snap joiners so i
stripped them down took the light covers of to clean the chrome but it had worn of the bottom and luckely the chrom polished off easy enough so i removed the chrom of the lower of the light to black also added a couple of leds
got a drl solinoid so when headlights are on drl gos out wired the halos into sidelights
added some 10000k hid and some 100w flasher bulbs
sorted all wireing out luckky thay had a jeep loom left on them so all i had to do was cut solder how i wanted and plug the whole loom in and of i go was well handy
also fitted my rear boot wind deflector and likeing the look of the jeep now did want a spoiler but there hard to come by or stupid amout on cash
hears some pics
oh i also washed paintsealed and waxed it

im guessing u have used an electrical tester and tested for switch lives and and have u tryed maybe hopping a live wire from the switch live to the wiper wire to see if u could activate that way also do u ahve any aftermarket electrical item fitted inside or even under the engine bay as alot of people use those blue scotch block to run a switch live to something else and to be honist great simple idea and thay work but boy are thay shit seen many wires actuly break at 1 end an due to them but the other item there powering is still happily working
curently bidding on a digital copy of a manual hopefully would have wireing diagrams in it and will have a look at that see if can help but let us no the out come if u get it sorted sooner

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

Going to replace ALL bushes under Jeep. He's done 93k miles now, and there's some creaks and bumps, so will replace them all... not sure of the cost, but needs to be done so it's fresh. Changing front and rear light clusters soon as well!

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

Next up is to install a 2m Ham Radio. Will swap out for a mobile HF rig in the future but for now a 2m will do.

Saving up to swap out all my lights to LEDs and HIDs.
