You will love it. It sounds nice and quiet at speed, then you romp on it and she turns into a beast. Let us know what you think after install.

I too have been wanting to do a "Bug deflector" for the hood in a painted fashion... not a fan of how the real ones stick up (though I understand the point of it)

What paint are you using that you call rock guard?

Yeah I like the painted look better as well.

The rock guard is exactly that. My stuff is the brand CRC, and is a rubberized undercoating/ rock guard. You could also use spray on box liner. It's all from a spray can.

I get to buy a battery as the one in it took a permanent vacation today after getting it load-tested. Drove it home and that was it. There goes $150 not in the budget...

Failed smog. Pretty sure it's due to a Manifold crack or leak up in that area. Taking it in today hopefully for a cheap diagnosis.

Napa Legend 7565 battery purchased and installed. The Jeep was conveniently parked facing the NW and we have a lovely 20-30 MPH NW wind today.

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

Found some hydro-dip carbon fiber online. Going to buy a small sheet soon and try it out!
If it fails I am only out 30 bucks for the sheet and "Activator spray"... If it works I will get a 3ft x 3ft sheet for 20 bucks and do EVERYTHING! Just needs to be shot with clear coat after it is done.
