This ain't the Dukes of Hazzard...

At least the paint matches those hideous turn signal reflectors.

Swapped out the RB4 for the factory unit... that possible trade is closer than I realized.

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

Update on the O2 sensor cleaning. Its a nogo. Before cleaning the sensors, they where measuring the O2 content, but changing slowly. Now they start fine, but after 5 minutes of operation the O2 voltage drops down to 0V and the fuel trim maxes out to around 32 and finally got a lean message. O2 sensors are shot now and new ones on their way.
Since they are not working anymore, i will try the torch method lateron, it can not get worse then it is
Second update: heating the O2 sensors until they started to glow red did clean them very well. I was in fact surprised to see them working again and changing the voltage from 0.800 to 0.100 in a rapid pace. But soon after i did a test drive, sensor 2 went back to 0.200 V and kept steady, while #1 still performed well, but also after a while went to around 0.200 V and the fuel trim went up in the sky again.I was thinking to be handy, and swap the front with the rear sensors for the time being, but then found out that the connectors are not the same. Oh well, i will just wait for the new sensors to come in.
When the engine runs rich, as it does now on mine, you will smell a dirty sulfur smell. That comes from the catalitic converters, who are trying their best to burn off the excess fuel, and will burn down internally when driven for an extended time. So for you guys who discover the sulfur smell from the exhaust, i would advise to check the O2 sensor voltage and also the STFT (short term fuel trim) and LTFT (long term fuel trim). These trim figures show what the PCM is adding (when +) or reducing (when -) to the standard fuel injection pulse. A single digit number positive or negative is ok, when it becomes double digit then its not ok and the cause must be found.

Nah. Don't get me wrong. I bleed Jeep but if I were in the market for an SRT it most definitely wouldn't be a GC. Way better SRT candidates out there.

Checked the Magic 8-ball and it said something about WK2 Diesel... not sure if I buy it or if Cheapjeep would buy it.

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

Well I figure let you guys in on the new cheapmobile before Trav's 8 ball on crack has me driving a Prius. First let me justify the replacement of the WJ to you guys. Well we're a camping family and recently went from a 32 ft motor home to a 22 ft pull behind. In the camping world that's like loosing half your house but it's just way too hard to maintain a motor vehicle that you only use a few times a year and spends it's entire life outside. Always something with those things and not a stress free environment which a vacation is supposed to be. Anyways the first trip we took with the camper we realized it wasn't big enough. Hell when I loaded my vacation beer up we had to leave one of the kids home. This and the fact that my girls are always bugging me about taking friends along kinda pushed me into a go big or go home decision for next year's camping. But first I must have a suitable tow vehicle that can handle probably 6k or more of camper, beer and gear. Sadly that's pushing ole silver to the edge and maybe over the cliff. Oh it would do it but ......refer to stress free environment above. And Since that old ratty Wrangler entered my life and took over my soul I kind lost interest in the dub so....................... I put on my best pair of plaid pants and went out and bought a .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ...............

Yea bro I figure that and the wood grain ought to be enough to put him in a "rubber room"
