Hell yeah! One of the best mods I've done for ride and handling. Might be partially due to the totally shot 130k mile factory shocks but they sure made a huge difference! good luck with install!

This should go fairly easy considering the WJ was in Florida and Georgia until I picked it up.

I just pulled the out of the box to check them over -

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

Installed the Bilsteins tonight. Less than 2 hours from starting the replacement to test-drive. The nervousness/twitchiness that the Jeep has had since day one of my ownership is gone. The added plus is the mysterious rattle/clunk in the front end is gone! The front shocks were very easy to compress and the rears were a bit stronger but nothing like the Bilsteins.

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

Im glad install went well for you! One of the bushings must have been going bad on one of the front shocks. How does the ride feel?

I finally ordered the parts I needed to upgrade to the akebono calipers up front, along with new ceramic pads and premium rotors from R1 Concepts. Pics to come!

Just running around town on our bad streets it feels much more planted and does not bounce all over the place. It also feels a bit more forgiving with quick steering input, no more twitchy tail end.

Sounds like your project will take longer than mine did.

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

Well went to install a remote oil filter kit after finding a leak around the oil filter seal flange. After a few problems finally got oil pressure back, then it made a sound like a jet taking off for about 20 sec I shut it down and got out to see WTH and there was probably 4 qts of oil on the ground. Too dark to see what happened but I think one of the remote kit hoses flexed into the belt when pressure built up. Not the best of days. Will get pics and more detail up on my build thread tomorrow

Nicely done dude! HUGE improvement over stock! I just wish these things came in other colors...but ya can't win them all.
