I will do that today...thanks buddy.

Thanks! That was my baby...and a daily driver for quite some time. All the brightwork was polished stainless or polished aluminum. Not one ounce of chrome. I miss the ol' girl. My plate read SUVEATR...hahahah.

I'll gladly accept the promotion to stupidvisor. That one had the underside of the hood all decal'd and badged up too. I'd open that thing up at shows and there was a decal for every part I had in there, from the Corbeau seats, to the Bestop 1/2 top. I might do things a little differently though today.

It does eh Dave? I have 3 cats iirc. Two pre cats and one main one, which is just before the new piece. I will have the videos up very soon, I promise. I'm as anxious as you to get them up.

I have had a few runs and it sounds fantastic.

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

Wenol is great for cleaning stainless...that and elbow grease. IF it's really bad, take it off if possible and get it up on the bench with a buff on a drill. NevrDull is good stuff too. How bad is it? Post a pic maybe?

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

I was gonna recommend never dull! I used it all the time on the chrome diff cover on my ZJ. Wenol works pretty good too my Dad uses it on his Mustang. Although he does it weekly so it never really gets bad...

These aren't quick by any means though. That one in the pic had about every aftermarket power-adder there was and it barely chirped those big 35's if I'd hammer it from a stop. Uphill on the highway? Forget it...you better drop into 4th and floor it. Plenty of low end torque though. I had the 4.0L again after this TJ in an XJ, but that only had 31" tires on it. The 4.0 does everything well with the exception of pinning you to your seat.
Yeah, that's what I've read and heard. This TJ vs WJ is starting to close out. I'm thinking I am just gonna keep the DubJ and lift it, put on new wheels and tires and maintain till I graduate....or get my bike

I think you'll be glad you kept the WJ when it's all said and done. For comfort and performance, it's hard to beat. Plus if you want to wheel it you totally can. With a TJ or XJ, they are significantly less comfortable and low on "on-road" performance. IT's all a trade off....

It is. One of my biggest things keeping me to the WJ is trunk space. I can have 2 12" subs and four golf bags in the back with no issues. Granted she's a bit slower but then again, I didn't pick the 4.0 I6 for speed lol.
