I went with flat black - satin would look good too tho.

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

Installed the OME 10MM spacers on the front this morning. Trying to decide if I should do the rear or not.

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

Taking it for a major service. CV Joints, Brake pads and rotor, wheel bearings and a few other things need sorting out.

After that, possibly a new pair of 18inch shoes for her but we'll see.

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

Yep Martyp, its going to be, comes with owning an older car i guess. Its still running beautifully though, engine has a very nice deep yet smooth pur, sounds great everytime i start it.

He's a street hawker, they are at every traffic light here in South Africa, selling fake sunglass brands, car chargers, car logos, toys, bags, fruits, flowers etc.... they're just trying to make a living, most of them are Nigerians and Zimbabweans who left their countries with next to nothing to come find jobs down here in Johannesburg. For guys who spend all day in the african sun at a traffic light they tend to be very cheerful and persuasive, even willing to bargain with you on the price of what they are selling. It makes sitting in traffic either very entertaining or even more irritating if you arent in the mood.

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

Good to hear you're looking after her though! The 4.0 is practically indestructible so you should have many more years ahead!

Ah, I see. Could come in handy at times, if he's selling fruit/candy etc!

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

Cheers. Oh yes there will be pics-a-plenty when I'm done.

I'll be painting the wheels gloss black (although part of me is still toying with black chrome). I may airbrush on a small something on them too.

I'm doing a complete overhaul of the engine bay. Tons of airbrushing in there

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

The wiring looks intimidating, but its actually really easy. Give me a shout anytime tho.

PMSL at the 50/50 pic, that is priceless. Looks like that shot was taken near some slums. Although it is state housing, it has aged badly - not a bad area tho.

Black chrome if you're painting them. Silver doesn't look to bad though, makes a nice contrast.

Can not wait to see the engine bay once you've worked your magic on it.

Oh, my dad's getting a Goldwing trike next year and he will be getting wanting some airbrushing done.

I do actually quite like the silver. Not sure what I'm gonna do now lol.

Hell yeah I'd love to paint a trike
