Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

It's a Jeep. Of course its gorgeous. What do you have planned first?

side note: Jeep got tinted today. Waiting on the call so I can go get her.

Edit: I've been having some weird electric issues with my halos and fogs not lighting properly and staying lite up, so last night I took the halos out and overlooked and re-attached everything. Boom! Halos fixed. Guessing I had a loose wire. I went to work on the fogs. Ever since I put them in, the driver side fog has always worked. The passenger sometimes would come on and sometimes it wouldn't. I would just turn the fog off/on till eventually it came on and stayed on. About a week ago, the passenger fog stopped working but the driver side still worked. Last night I crawled under and looked at all the connections, nothing really stood out to me. I went to turn on the fogs afterwards and......neither now work. FAWK! Gonna check the fuse box once I get the Jeep back tonight.

Minor body work (fix dent l front fender),headlight rejuvination. Install remote start, level/lift, bull bar of some sort and when it needs new shoes...my flares, I'm going to start mocking those up long before they get installed though. Sucks about your electrical issues ...I hate troubleshooting them (electrician by trade)

Nothing quite like a clean ride when everyone else's is covered with salt...I just gave mine a bath last night. It was well above freezing out, so I had to do mine and the wife's Libby.

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

Next in the Jeep I will be figuring out what is grinding on turns on the rear passenger side. I think its time to finally address the slow leak on the axle seals, and do bearings while I'm in there. The brake discs look ok, but it could be a parking brake failure too, I haven't pulled the rotor off yet to see if the shoes have fallen off but I'm thinking I will just order all the parts and call it a day. Damn Jeep, I finally get it just about the way I want it and then it starts to fall apart.

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

That sucks dude...my bro-in-laws wife just had a similar issue. Turned out to be the ebrake pads. They were just tumbling around in there. That, and a backing plate that was jacked up. Ended up having to pull the axle to get the backing plate replaced. Perfect time to do seals and clean up the rear diff.

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

So got the car back from the tint shop. Excuse the dirtiness of her; I'll post better pics later this week when I give her a bath. I ended up going with 20% all around and since the back half were already tinted, it brought those to 5% and the front is 20%.

Front window

In other news, I was driving yesterday and one of my headlights wasn't projecting. I pulled over and found that the HID bulb had popped out and started to burn the white plastic thingy (very technical term right thur). Think this is replaceable?

UPDATE: So I looked at the fuse box under the dash and discovered that the fuse for the fogs had blown. I put in a replacement fuse and turned on the fogs and POP! that fuse blew. FAWK. So I'm thinking I have a short-circuit somewhere.
