Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

Just fitted 'Fastman TB' very happy with it. Just need to organize my tune then I think I maybe happy. Although 'Airram' nearly has 'project yellow jacket' finished...

Replaced high beams, passenger door actuator and put new door clips on all the ones that had broken.

I offered 14k cash. It's marked at 18.5k so we will see. I like everything about it except for the 3.8.

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

Hopefully installing 2.5" fat bobs coil spring lift this weekend. That's of fat bobs shipped it out yet. Paid and cleared monday night. Order status says processing but shipping said 3 days, hmmm. Anybody have bad luck with fat bobs garage shipping?

Also waiting for my r1 concepts brakes, as well as some audio gear that will all be here this week. Gotta love tax time.

I just did the same lift a few weeks ago, LOVE it. BUT I did have some issues with them getting things. I'm local so I went to pick up the kit, after calling the day before to ensure it was in, only to hear that my shocks werent there. Apparently the guy I talked to the day before was confused and thought my shocks were there but actually they were on back order. Springs were on back order when I first ordered it too but they came in the day after I ordered so that wasnt a problem.

I think that they do more of their shipping out of the Layton store, I was dealing with the Ogden store so hopefully you wont have any issues.

Did you get the bilsteins?

No bilsteins. Didn't have the extra cash right now to upgrade. Still should be better then what I have now. My 99 has 165k miles and I can feel it in the suspension. Runs great overall though. I hope they come in soon. I did email them to see if they give me a update. Maybe ups will surprise me today

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

Got around to front Pinion seal this week. (Timken 5778) Dropped at family owned local shop for the service. Spoke with tech about reusing pinion nut and torque procedure. He assured me all would be well with locktite on the threads and zipped the nut to about 175 ft/lbs. They been doing these for years. Sounds normal on 20mi trip home and my front diff is finally dry. (leak free) He also welded a small patch on an exhaust leak. Charged .75 hrs of labor which ran me a total of $50.75 all together. I am officially leak free on all Axles! The only slight seep is my rear main which i can live with. I encourage all who seek service to look into locally owned service shops first.
