What areas do you hope to improve upon in 2012?

Hopefully the poll covers most areas, if not, post what you plan on doing.

(Multiple choice allowed seeing as there is so many possibilities, time and money permitting)

Re: What areas do you hope to improve upon in 2012?

My improvement for 2012 will be darker tinted Windows since I've basically done everything else to my Jeep on the list within the past few months of 2011 lol

My goal is to sit a red light and no one be able to see me... Stealthy hahah

Re: What areas do you hope to improve upon in 2012?

I have a few ideas.....

Suspension -

I already have the rear addco sway bar
-I will grab the addco front sway bar
-WJ Dual RCX Steering stabilizer (http://www.roughcountry.com/jeep_wj_...tabilizer.html)

Interior - Finish the last 4 vanity bulbs (already on order)

Lighting -
-Install 5k HID fogs (already have bulbs, ballasts and relays) by what ever means necessary, lol
-Install 4 LED's in rear turn and reverse lights
-Decide if adding a resister(s) to change the hyper flashing behavior is worth the extra work to me. While I am not to keen on tampering with factory wiring to stop minor issue of hyper flashing, i might just live with it.

And save $$$ for 2012. Maybe by December buy some 20's for it.

Re: What areas do you hope to improve upon in 2012?

I have my suspension and engine pretty well taken care of for now. Next up will be projectors and 5k HID lows to replace my fogged to sh!t factory headlights. I would also like to do new tires but the current ones should make it through the rest of this winter and summer, so maybe next fall.

Oh, one engine mod I guess, actually exhaust. The Jeep probably needs new o2 sensors and as soon as the factory exhaust rusts out I will be getting either a borla or magnaflow SS replacement.

Re: What areas do you hope to improve upon in 2012?

What happened to the original thread - or did I just dream of it?!?

Anyways:

Audio: Get a sub in the trunk, if money permits Double DIN HU with the new benzel.
Body: Get mirrors and side skirts color coded.
Engine: Need an SCT tuner and tune badly with the new F&B TB. Would love to fit custom grind cams and 08 intake but we'll see...
Lighting: Probably more a downgrade; remove Gen 3s and XD HIDs - refit stockers all polished like new and refit standard xenon bulbs. Upgrade to those projector fogs; with the benzel color-coded.
Suspension: Upgrade to; Eibach Front/Rear sways, Eibach Pro-Truck Springs, Bilstein Shocks and Moog Steering Stabilizer. Replace tierod ends with Moog parts if req.

That'll keep me poor for the year.

Re: What areas do you hope to improve upon in 2012?

Engine - a throttle body, and a tune (probably a Flashpaq)

Body - maybe color match that front grille...and the lower "skid plate" to complete the elimination of all exterior chrome

Pretty damn happy with everything else...

Re: What areas do you hope to improve upon in 2012?

For me it's the year of the power steering pump. It's been sluggish at idle for over a year now and the sad part is I've had the new pump and pulley laying around since last summer.

I second that, it's a pain in the a** waiting for the vehicle to warm-up enough for the steering to be responsive.

Hahaah....nah, I'm not a chrome hater...just can't be satisfied until everything "flows". There are only 2 chrome pieces on the whole jeep and majority rules...lol.
