As for Gen III's I believe they're all of similar quality, Here's a pretty cheap one I want to go with, but of course they get you with the shipping. Also I don't know why the seller mentions "SRT-8" in the description lol idiots.

Re: WJ Plans for The Summer

i painted my rims with Duplicolor brake caliper paint(black) and they turned out great, but im gonna redo them soon and add some coats of clear. they have held up well with all the snow and salt in Michigan.
as for painting them, i scuffed them up, washed them, cleaned them with some surface prep cleaner, taped off the tires and sprayed a couple of coats of paint. i also painted the inside of the rim too, i would recommend doing that also.
hopefully this helps you..

Re: WJ Plans for The Summer

I believe I used 2 cans and I barely had just enough for 2 coats on all 4 rims. I'd suggest 3 cans of paint to be safe and maybe 2 cans of clear(they make clear in a spray can, that's what I used). Not sure if they make dark gray in the brake caliper paint, I used brake caliper paint because its good till 500 degrees and it seems a little more durable, but other paints should be fine also. I prefer duplicolor because I like the triggers they use, just my opinion! Good luck and let's see the pics when done!!

@CherokeeOnToyos: I think I've seen pictures of your Jeep on Car Domain, not sure though. I think you had a John Deer sticker on the rear window at some point if I'm not mistaken lol anyways do you have a LED 3rd Brake Light installed? If so, how do you like it?
