Re: Flyin' Ryan Performance Official Feedback Thread

Very Good Price... Stayed in contact through the entire order and after to see how it runs. When I installed the t.b 5.7l i instantly noticed a difference in response and the sound of the exhaust has gotten louder... would buy another one. if i needed 2

Bought a 3.6L Pentastar throttle body from Ryan. He was very helpful and responsive. His work is top quality. I'd recommend his porting to anybody. Thanks again!

Re: Flyin' Ryan Performance Official Feedback Thread

Well took the plunge and picked up a SCT tuner w/unlimited N/A tunes from Ryan earlier this month. Order was processed through AirRam which in the US would be very slick however, I had to wait a few days on getting a quote for international shipping from Nick which is fair enough as I doubt he ships stuff overseas much.

Communication from Ryan was always top notch, he is super helpful and kept me up-to-date every step of the way, recommended stuff to buy to get the best from the tune too (plugs, t-stat, datalogger etc) which in all honesty is foreign to me.

Just waiting on the datalogger coming this week and we'll see what she'll do.

Overall, couldn't be happier with the transaction and would recommend Ryan's services to anyone.

Re: Flyin' Ryan Performance Official Feedback Thread

has anyone dyno'd these TB's?? Particularly the 5.7 TB. I have an 05 5.7 WK and live at 4600ft. Would the ported TB help at altitude?

AMW5 was supposed to dyno a 84mm bored TB for me, but was unable to get full dyno runs in because of unrelated mechanical issues. I haven't made any real effort to dyno the TBs since, because I know that even if there is "dyno proof" of gains, I know people will question the results anyways. I'm not going to spend the money on something that people don't feel is definitive/conclusive. It's been my experience that consistent positive feedback has been the best "proof" around.

That said, dyno runs using Modern Muscle's ported TBs, which until recently were designed with a nasty lip in the inlet, and aren't ported as far as I take them, have been good for 8-10rwhp on stock/bolt-on 5.7s.

I have sold 50+ 5.7 TBs in the last 2 years , and 120+ TBs altogether- if they didn't work, I would've been called on it long ago.

I have sold TBs to folks at high altitude- it still helps.

Re: Flyin' Ryan Performance Official Feedback Thread

Decided to tune my 3.7 earlier this month. First of all Ryans customer service is the best i adviced him i knew nothing in regards to tuning anything that had to do with pcm, datalogging pretty much nothing that has to do with my wks computer. He has been very helpful and understanding always on top of my tune explaining with detail to make my hard head understand lol

In regards to the tune, all i can say is wow!!! I had no idea my jeep could run so good i mean its incredible! More power, throttle response and shifts so much better. All you out there with the 3.7 this is a must do theres so much hidden in our wk and Ryan is the way to go to uncover the beast in the v6. Next ill be ordering one of his TB.

Thanks Ryan you rock!!!

Re: Flyin' Ryan Performance Official Feedback Thread

Thanks everybody for the kind compliments. I am glad to satisfy so many in the community.

Here's Fred aka Spyder873's testimonial about his experience when he received SCT for his 5.7:

"I have to say this is the best customer service ever . I have 91 plus emails with suggestions and progress reports on both the tuning and the 2- Throttle bodys we bought .( one for a xk 4.7 and one for a 5.7 hemi WK)

Ryan is truly a class act. He took the time to explain everything to me as to what he needed for the tune. ( a task in it self, lol)
With the tuner I definitely saw a pick up in Throttle response and general Responsiveness. I look forward to install the throttle body

Thanks"

Re: Flyin' Ryan Performance Official Feedback Thread

Finally after getting some logistics worked out I am running the tuner. LOVE IT!! I struggled getting some of the data logs at first but since I got that figured out with the ever patient help from Ryan I have received some updated tunes and they get better every time. Can't wait to try out the newest tunes tomorrow.

Ryan has amazing customer service and really knows what he is doing. Huge difference in the jeep from just the tune.

Thanks for everything Ryan!
