Got a quote for $800 to get the above work done. The guy at the shop is excited. Guess he doesn't get to do that sort of thing very often. I'm having him route it all the way back on the passenger side where both ends are going to just point down. That way, it can look pretty stock, but won't sound like a soccer mom's grocery-getter. Won't have to modify the bumper or get rid of the spare tire, either. I'm pretty excited.
If I had the time, facilities, and expertise, I'd do it all myself, but I'm especially lacking on the last two things.
Plus, by keeping the cats stock, I don't have to worry about throwing codes or failing emissions tests, and once those headers are on the market, I can hopefully do a direct bolt-on swap!
